How it works in 5 steps
1. Create your listing
You create your listing directly on easy-leasy.ch with all the relevant vehicle and contract details. Duration, monthly rate, mileage, transfer fee charged by the bank. The listing is free of charge and has no time limit.
2. Initial consultation with us
After you have created your listing, we get in touch briefly. In a short phone call or email exchange, we go through our questionnaire so we can advise interested parties on your behalf. Condition of the vehicle, special features, any scratches or extras. The better we know your car, the more convincingly we can represent it to potential buyers.
3. Enquiries and pre-qualification
As soon as enquiries come in, we handle the communication. We clarify open questions with interested parties, filter out non-serious enquiries and check whether the basic requirements for a lease transfer are met: Swiss residency, regular income, no debt collection records. We also carry out credit checks through our partner Intrum. You only hear about a prospect when it is genuinely relevant.
4. Viewing and test drive
If everything checks out, we schedule a viewing. We are there in person, show the vehicle, answer all questions about the transfer process and make sure both sides feel comfortable. No awkward negotiating between private individuals, but a structured, professional experience.
5. Handover and contract transfer
Once both parties agree, we initiate the formal process with the leasing bank. The new leaseholder submits their documents to the bank, the bank runs a credit check and draws up the new contracts. We provide you with all the necessary templates and checklists and remain your point of contact until the deal is done.
What does Easy Leasy cost?
Using the platform is completely free. You pay nothing for the listing, nothing for its duration and nothing for our upfront consultation. Only when a lease transfer is successfully completed do we charge a service fee of CHF 250 per party. That is CHF 250 for you as the current leaseholder and CHF 250 for the person taking over.
