Information about how we handle your data

    Responsible Party

Responsible for data processing on this website: Easy Leasy AG Erlenweg 10 6312 Steinhausen Switzerland Email: [email protected]

    Data Collection and Processing

Most data we hold comes directly from you, for example during registration, when creating a listing, or when contacting us. This includes: - Name and email address - Phone number - Address details (street, postal code, town, country), if you provide them - Vehicle and contract data for listings - Documents you upload to a listing, for example contract paperwork - Communication content for inquiries Some data does not come from you but from third parties: for interested parties, we obtain a credit assessment from a credit agency. What is transmitted and returned is described in the section Credit Assessment of Interested Parties.

    Credit Assessment of Interested Parties

If you wish to take over a leased vehicle through Easy Leasy, we assess your creditworthiness beforehand. To do so, we obtain a report from a Swiss credit agency we work with (Intrum or CRIF). These are the same agencies the leasing companies themselves work with. Why we do this A lease takeover costs both sides time: viewings, paperwork, appointments and deadlines. The pre-assessment shows early on whether a takeover has realistic prospects. It is part of our mediation service and cannot be purchased separately. What data we transmit We transmit the details required for the inquiry to the agency, in particular name, address and contact details. In return we receive an assessment of your ability to pay. We do not report any information about your payment behavior to the agency, we only request a report from it. Our pre-assessment is not the leasing company's decision The result of our pre-assessment is an indication, not an approval. Whether a lease contract is actually transferred to you is decided solely by the leasing company that holds the existing contract. It carries out its own, independent assessment and may reach a different conclusion. We have no influence over that decision. How long we keep the result We keep the result only for as long as it is needed for the mediation and for as long as statutory retention obligations require. What you can request You can find out at any time which data we transmitted to the agency and which result we received. Write to us at [email protected]. Information about the data the agency itself holds about you, and correction of inaccurate entries, is available directly from the agency.

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for third-party advertising. We only disclose what is necessary for the mediation or what we are legally obliged to disclose. Credit agency For interested parties, we transmit the details required for the credit assessment. Further detail is in the section Credit Assessment of Interested Parties. Leasing company Only the company holding the existing lease contract can approve a takeover. It requires details and documents about the person taking over. The other party to the takeover A handover only works if both sides know each other. As soon as a takeover becomes concrete, the current lessee and the interested party receive each other's details needed to make contact, in particular name, email address and phone number. Technical service providers These providers process data on our behalf and according to our instructions: - Website hosting (Vercel) - Database, user accounts and files such as images and documents (Supabase) - Sending emails, for example from the contact form (Resend) - Website usage analysis (Google Tag Manager, served via a server container on our own subdomain) Authorities and courts Where we are legally or officially obliged to do so, or where we must enforce or defend legal claims, we disclose data to authorities and courts. Recipients' own responsibility The credit agency and the leasing company process the data for their own purposes and under their own responsibility. Their own privacy policies apply. Processing abroad Some of the providers named above process data outside Switzerland.
