Listing: CHF 0. On successful takeover: CHF 500 success fee, your successor pays Easy Leasy nothing for the mediation. If no takeover comes about, you owe Easy Leasy no success fee.
Common questions about exiting a lease
- Does my leasing bank allow a takeover?
- Most Swiss leasing banks allow a contract takeover under conditions. Check your contract or ask your bank, we help you clarify. The bank's processing fee, if it charges one, is usually paid by the successor.
- What happens to my down payment?
- It stays with the contract. Whether and how much your successor reimburses you is a matter of negotiation, our contract template records it. The reimbursement goes to you, not to us. It runs through our escrow and is released once the takeover is complete.
- How long does it take?
- The listing is online in about 3 minutes. The takeover itself typically takes 2 to 4 weeks from the first inquiry: the bank's credit decision usually takes 1 to 3 days, the rest is scheduling and the viewing.
- What if nobody gets in touch?
- Not every vehicle finds a successor right away. Brand, rate and remaining term decide. You can adjust the down payment, text and photos at any time, or end the listing. Until a takeover comes about, no fee is due.
